Increasing the life of blanking punch by coating

This Bachelor thesis presents possible methods for increasing the lifespan of cutting tools made of steel 19 436 designed for cutting stator and rotor plates made of silicon steel. These sheets are characterized by high hardness, which adversely affects the edges of the scissors. Experimental hardness measurement on delivered samples has verified the actual heat treatment on the surface and inside the scraper. The measured value 62 HRC corresponds to the input requirements. Based on the literature study, a combination of chemical – heat treatment and coating was chosen as the most appropriate method. In order to preserve the microstructure of the punch produced after the heat treatment, it was necessary to apply the coating by physical vapor deposition, which is characterized by low deposition temperatures. The FeinAl coating will be applied by cathodic arc deposition and is primarily designed to protect tools and cutting tools.
Production of filter cover

The project elaborated design of technology production of the filter cover - section from the deep drawing sheet 11 325 (DC04). Based on analysis was chosen combination of technologies shearing and deep drawing for that option was designed manufacturing process. Forming process is realized on hydraulic progressive press from Sweden company AP&T which has got total nominal tensile force 1740 kN and equipped 5 stations with lower holders and upper ejectors. Deep drawn part is transported between stations by feeders which are part of press. Function parts are made from alloyed tool steels 19 436 and 19 573 which are heat-worked according to drawing documentation. In chapter technical and economical evaluation was determined turning point which become after reaching of 142 840 parts.
The manufacturing of sheet metal part by blanking technology

ŽÁK Ondřej: The manufacture of sheet metal part by blanking technology The project elaborated in frame of engineering studies branch 2307. The project elaborated in frame of bachelor studies in engineering technology field set up proposal technology of production of feed lame – a section from steel metal plate 11 320. Processual shearing was suggested on the basis of belles-lettres problem of blanking and calculation. Shearing use standardized component and is solved by form of usual rack close set on press LEN 25-C, with nominal ductile by force 250 kN. Blanking puch and blanking are made from 19 class alloyed instrumental steels, heat treated according to graphical documentation.

The manufacturing of level indicator by fineblanking process

The project elaborated in frame of engineering studies branch 2307. The project is submitting design of technology production of the extract - section from the deep drawing sheet iron 11 373.1. Pursuant to of the literary pursuit a problem of the deep drawing and calculation was designed drawing in instrument with holder. The lower ejector is using for extrusion component. The drawing instrument make use of standardised components and it is solving forms of customary stool close-set on the crank drawing inclinable press LEN 63 C (producer APJ Praha), with nominal tensile force 630 kN. Drawing punch and drawing die are produced from alloyed instrumental steel 19 436.9 (POLDI 2002), heat-worked according to drawing documentation.
Uses of a cutting die in the manufacturing process

The bachelor’s thesis elaborated as part of a bachelor's degree of the branch mechanical engineering submitted a proposal of use cutting technology in the manufacturing process. The specified component is a tine and it is made of abrasion resistant and high-strength steel. The tine is produced in a series of 200,000 units / year. The first part of the thesis is pointed to technology of material cutting. For this technology a literature summary was made including a description of the requirements for the calculation of shearing machines and tools. In the second part, cutting tool was chosen based on technological calculations. For this instrument has been chosen crank press LKJA 1000 with a nominal force of 10 000 kN. The study evaluate the economic comparison of laser and cutting tool.
Bulk forming technology of shutting nut

VOTAVOVÁ Jitka: Bulk forming technology of shutting nut. The project elaborate in frame bachelor studies submit design technology of production shutting nut by means of bulk forming from stteel 11 320 5R CSN EN 10 204. Production sequence was proposed upon linear analyse of bulk forming especially to extrusion and upsetting. Technological calculations was made. Maschine was select automatic transfer press TPM12, nominal power 2000 kN (producer SMERAL Brno). Extruder will make from tool steel 19 436, clamp ring from tool steels 19 733 and extrusion die from sintered carbide SK65. Heat-treatment extruder and clamp ring according to drawing.
Increasing the life of cutting blades by coating

This Bachelor Thesis presents the possibility of increasing lifespan of cutting blades made of 19 436 steel, which are used for the production of stator sheets made of silicon steel. Its high amount significantly increases the hardness of the material, which adversely affects the lifespan of the tool blade. After selecting suitable methods, coating was chosen. Its use is limited by the resistance of the material to tempering with a maximum temperature of 520 °C. Therefore, it is necessary to choose a PVD method, more specifically arc evaporation, which runs at temperature below 500 °C. From a range of suitable coating the multi-layer FeinAl coating, which has excellent properties thanks to chemical composition and structure composed from many fine layers, was selected.
Production of sheet metal part

The project elaborates the desing of establishing angle. It is made from 1 mm thick galvanized sheet EN10346-DX53D+Z100-M-B-C in production 200 000 parts per year. A technology of shearing and bending at progressive die tool was selected from several options as the most suitable technology of manufacturing. There are standartized parts in progressive stamping tool. Tool is designed for eccentric press LEN 63C from producer ŠMERAL Trnava. The eccentric press includes 630 kN of forming force. The function parts are made from alloy tool steel 19 436.9 with heat treatment according to technical documentation.
Sheet metal part manufacturing by drawing

The project developed in the frame of the bachelor study branch B2307-00 presents a proposal of acreation technology of a flange, which is to be a model of the roof lift. The part is made of steel 11 320. Due to the anticipated serial production of 10 000 pieces per year, a number of production options is considered. On the basis of literary studies of the issue of drawing, it is suggested a drawing by a metal tool with blankholder. Due to calculations of tensile strength and work, press LEN 40 C is suggested. Drawing tool is designed to require the most of standard components and is solved through the form of a normal rack fastened to the eccentric press LTN 40 C. Drawing punch and drawing die are made of tool steels 19 436.3 and heat-processed according to the drawing documentation.
